Property description

A Grade II listed three bedroom semi-detached thatched cottage with an enclosed rear garden, a double garage and driveway parking, situated in the village of Brockhall.

This period property has been thoughtfully refurbished during its history but retains character features throughout including exposed beams, stone walls, Inglenook fireplaces, flagstone flooring and latch and brace doors. There is approximately 1,918 sq. ft. of versatile accommodation set over two floors which includes an entrance/sitting room with stairs to the first floor and access to the sitting room and dining room. Also on the ground floor is a kitchen, garden room and an inner hall with access to an office/bredroom and cloakroom. On the first floor the principal bedroom has fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms, which both have fitted wardrobes and share a three piece bathroom with a WC, a washbasin and a bath with a shower over.

Kitchen

The over 24 ft. galley kitchen is fitted with a range of wall and base units including display units and shelving, with tiled splashbacks and granite work surfaces incorporating a sink with a mixer tap. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, a fridge, an oil fired Aga, and a separate electric oven with a Calor gas hob with an extractor over. There are windows overlooking the garden and a door to the patio.

Outside

The property is accessed via double timber gates to a gravel driveway which provides parking for up to three cars ahead of the double garage. There is a paved patio which spans the rear of the cottage and continues up behind the garage to create an additional seating area. Steps lead up to the remainder of the garden which is laid to lawn with mature trees and hedging which offer a degree of privacy.
